Big Boy

Hudson is three months old!

I can't believe how fast time is passing. Since we don't have a doctor here in Ohio yet and I don't have the Student Health Center to go weigh and measure him whenever I want, I don't have his exact stats. But I took him in a couple days before we left and he was 12 lbs 8 oz and if he's gaining at the rate he has been the past couple months (about an ounce a day) than he's probably 4 or 5 ounces over 13 lbs. Also, he's about 24 inches... Crazy! He really is getting big. I can definitely feel the difference in weight when I hold him. He isn't my little newborn anymore. He's even fitting in a few of his 3-6 month clothes and he'll probably be in size 2 diapers within another few weeks.
So here are some fun facts about Hudson (I've decided this is a type of journal for me so just skip it if you don't care, haha):

Hudson is such a smiley baby. He's always grinning and laughing (his own version-- it's not quite a real, full laugh yet). He's rarely fussy and almost never for no reason. It's usually a quick fix.

He's still a great sleeper. Eight hours every night and lately he's been taking really long naps (2 hours+) during the day as well.

He's very active. He loves when we pull him up by his hands into a standing position. When he's standing on our laps he likes to walk up our chests. It's so cute to see him move his legs. He lifts them up so high that it looks like he's marching.

He's obsessed with his hands. He will sometimes wrap his fingers around his pacifier and pull it out so he can replace it with his fist. It's pretty funny. He's also started grasping his feet and toys around him.

He loves to talk/coo/yell. Sometimes I'll put him under his little bar with dangling toys (what are those called?) and leave him there for a while and he'll just talk and talk while sucking on his fist and batting at the toys. It's fun to see him and Brandon imitate each other's sounds.

He still has acid reflux, although I think it's getting a little better thanks to his medicine. He almost always has a bib on since he spits up so much (and now he's started drooling too).
