A day with Sawyer

Last Tuesday I got to babysit my cousin's baby for a few hours while she and my aunt took care of some business here in Provo. It was soooo much fun. Sawyer is the cutest, sweetest little kid and it made me so excited to know that I get my own little munchkin in about three months!

Playing around with the handsome boy

Kenna came to help out (actually just play with us-- it doesn't take much to watch this little guy)

If I look exhausted and frazzled it's because I had been up since before the sun came up and had been STANDING in line to get the H1N1 vaccine in a freezing parking garage for five and a half hours. I got home just in time to watch Sawyer-- definitely the better half of my day.

We had a lovely time

Later, my aunt treated us all (my sisters, Bran, and I) to dinner at Brick Oven. I wish I got a picture of the whole gang. Thanks again, Auntie Joyce!! Love to you, Chelsea, and Sawyer! Hope to see you at Christmas!
On a pregnancy note: I'm 26 weeks now and almost in my third trimester. Crazy how time is flying! Baby boy still moves a ton and I find myself giggling at him all the time which probably weirds out the people around me. :) I'm already having a lot of trouble sleeping through the night and I usually wake up thinking my body has been trampled by a giant truck because my joints and muscles are so sore, but hey-- it's all part of the experience, right?? Haha. I'll post a tummy picture soon.

Getting Bigger

Just a quick baby bump update-

I feel like I'm already huge and I don't know how I can get any bigger, but I know I'll keep feeling that way until February. Also, ignore my face. Haha, I am completely un-photogenic right now.
On another note, I just switched doctors and I really like my new one. Yay! I think I'm finally settled (after four doctors, three states, and more than half of my pregnancy).

This baby keeps moving around like a hyperactive little acrobat and we are so so excited for him to finally get here!

Baby Speculation

As is probably natural for all pregnant people (I know only women get pregnant, but I can't seem to call myself a woman-- it's too old or presumptuous, I guess. I think I will always refer to myself as a girl, but writing "pregnant girls" looked weird so I'm sticking with "people"), I am incredibly curious about what my little baby will look like when I finally get to see him.

In an effort to satisfy this curiosity I spend way too much time looking at baby pictures of me and Brandon to try and come up with plausible ideas. Brandon's mom sent me some pictures of Bran when he was a wee little one (so cute) and I had my sister send me some of my baby pictures. Unfortunately my family doesn't have a working scanner so she just took pictures of the pictures... So if the quality and cropping seem funny (some are taken directly from my baby scrapbook), that's why.

Little Branny boy

So Cute

I would love to have one just like this. :)

This kills me. Look at his eyes!

And now for me, or, the fatso.

Sorry about the glare

Me and my best friend in the whole world: Kenna/cutest, most angelic creature ever
I would actually be thrilled if all my kids look like Mackenna or my other siblings :)

I kind of look like an alien

Okay, I'm done now. :)

This little son of mine...

... is insanely hyper. At least it seems that way to me. I started feeling his movements a while ago, but I doubted that it was really him until I was about 19-20 weeks. Now he moves almost constantly. I don't know how he can be so many places in my stomach at once. I thought babies were supposed to sleep most of the time in the womb! Maybe he's just a wild sleeper. Who knows. All I do know is that he's a little acrobat and I love it. It's really the best, funnest feeling and I never get tired of staring at my stomach as it contorts and shifts with his manly little displays of strength and agility.

In conclusion, I'm probably annoying, but I think my baby is so so cute.

It's Autumn Time

My family came into town for General Conference and we had a blast. On Thursday we drove the Alpine loop to admire the amazing fall leaves. There are a lot of pictures here so if you get bored by nature photos feel free to skip this post, ha ha. My mom's pictures were much better, but I don't have any on my computer.

Not a great picture at all, but here's my 22 week tummy.

I'm a little obsessed with leaves... haha

Oh yeah, and the first football game of the season.

My beautiful sisters and friend of sister/adopted sister.
