- Got back from our visit to Arizona and California
- Packed up our apartment in Wisconsin
- Stuffed all our junk (plus Tyler's stuff) and all four of us into our car to begin the long drive
- Visited the Archibalds in Minnesota again on the way across the country
- Saw Mount Rushmore
- Between the three of us we got and got over sore throats, sinus infections, fevers, bronchial infections, food poisoning, pink eye (maybe), and colds
- Stopped in Provo for a few days to spend time with friends and family
- Moved home where we'll be for the next couple of months (while Brandon finishes up selling and gets ready to start his new job --probably in Utah-- in December)
- Helped my grandparents move out of their assisted living center and into our house for a few days (since my grandma fell and broke her shoulder and arm) until they left today to move down to Southern California with my Aunt
Here are some pictures. :)
Pulling the car seat over and then cuddling in it
Mom and baby in the morning
So funny... Sometimes his legs keep moving apart until he's almost in the splits and then he panics and yells for me to come save him
Love his funny face
This box is where we kept his toys in Wausau. He would crawl over, climb up, and then reach in to get out his toys.
Helping us pack up
Mount Rushmore!
This was one of my worst days (Sinus infection, sore throat, crazy cough, and what I thought was pink eye-- hence, the sunglasses in early evening. It turns out it was just tremendous sinus pressure) unfortunately so I didn't enjoy Rushmore as much as I could have. I actually got to the point where I was sitting back by Hudson during the drive, trying to keep him happy and just crying. Haha, not a good trip, but it's over now and it's amazing how quickly people can forget about the bad stuff and remember the good. Thank goodness. :)
One day this face will be up there... Probably. ha
Once we got to Utah we had a blast hanging out and catching up with friends. We went out to dinner and then played games with two couples (Tess and John, Natalie and Logan) and their little boys from our old ward. It was so great to see them!
Hud at Red Robin. I'm loving that he can sit in these booster seats now
Oh Riley... I love this kid
Carter and Hudson. They had fun getting to know each other
It was hard to get them in a picture together. Carter was the only cooperative one
This is how most of the pics turned out. Still adorable
Riley does this hilarious pose when you tell him to say cheese for pictures. He tilts his head and gives a little smile... What a little model boy!
Hudson was crawling all over Carter who is sooo adorable
Carter got a fistful of Hud's hair! It was so funny to see them playing around and good for Hudson to get a taste of his own medicine since he's usually the one "bullying" (grabbing at and trying to touch and pull and eat...) the other babies, haha.
We also got to go over and play with our friends Megan and Kade and their little boy Creed. Creed's almost a year older than Hudson and was very nice to share his toys with Hud
Love this one
Creed's face here is priceless. Such a cutie!
Not sure how he felt about Hudson riding his rocking horse...
But Hud loved it :)
We took these exact pictures right before we left Utah in April. Bran and Kade have been friends since they were 17 when they met at EFY.
And the moms and their boys
It was wonderful to see everybody and we can't wait to be able to hang out again soon!!
So now we're just working on getting settled here in California for the next few months and are having so much fun with all our family around. Hud's getting plenty of lovin'.
