Six Months... What?!

I've got a lot to post about since we've been on vacation in Arizona and California for the past little while, but I thought I'd squeeze in a post about the fact that my BABY is half a year old. Huh? Not possible. He really does get cuter and more fun every day and I can't believe how fast it's all going (at the same time I can't believe I ever didn't have little Hud bud/stud in my life...)
So, here's a little update on my boy:

We're a month off on doc appointments so no exact stats, but when I weighed him on our scale (while holding him and subtracting my own weight so this is approximate) he was 16 lbs and 4 oz. That was wearing a little onesie and a diaper so... somewhere around 16 lbs. He also seems pretty tall lately.

He's still as crazy active as ever. He's crawling like champ, climbing up whatever he can find into standing positions, loving to jump up and down when he's standing and holding onto our hands, always curious about everything, and impossible to hold down when trying to change his diaper. He really is the most wiggly baby I've ever seen. It took three of my sisters to dress him the other day. He's a handful, but so so much fun.

He is completely obsessed with technology as I think most babies are. He thinks my phone is his, goes after any cord he sees, attacks the camera, and throws fits when we don't let him chew on our laptops... Silly boy.

We're moving slow with new foods. He likes and is quite good at eating rice cereal now and we've added some fruits and veggies and oatmeal cereal recently which he LOVES. He also loves water and we just got a sippy cup for him.

He usually goes to bed between 8:30 and 9:30 pm and wakes up at around 6:30 am. After a quick snack though he falls back to sleep with mom and dad in our bed until around 8:30. I love that. :)

He's a bit of a mama's boy when he's fussy or tired, but he's very friendly and will go to anyone with a big smile.

He is obsessed with other babies. He loves to touch their hands and faces. He also loves mirrors.

Favorite toys are: a few of his stuffed animals, a couple soft little soccer balls we have, empty water bottles, some wooden rattle toys from Austria from my mom, anything that makes music, a little London double decker bus toy, and probably more that I can't think of right now.

Loves to yell and jabber to himself and whoever will listen. His favorite "words" (sounds) are "dah" "ma" "na" "ya" and "mmmm" and "rrrrr." He is very expressive and enjoys screaming and squealing.

He is still very good natured and sweet. He loves to nuzzle/wrestle me and Brandon and give me "kisses" by eating my face. He's such a smiler and likes to flirt with strangers at the grocery store and restaurants.
